In 1992 I was a contestant in the Pillsbury Bake-Off Contest. This is a prestigious cooking contest that takes place every two
years, and is televised nationally. From many thousands of entries, it is narrowed down to 100. Each of those 100 contestants prepare their original recipe in front of major news journalists, food critics, representatives from major magazines and other media. The 100 recipes are published by Pillsbury.
